American Miles is a truckload carrier based in Costa Mesa, California. Since 2017 we've moved time-sensitive freight across the country in 53-ft dry vans with two drivers in every truck. Our slogan is Always on Time, Every Time.

Why team driving helps your freight
A solo driver can drive up to 11 hours a day under federal hours-of-service rules. On a team truck, one driver rests in the sleeper while the other drives, so the truck can keep going for most of the day and both drivers stay within the rules. Your freight spends less time parked overnight and crosses the country faster.

Our drivers stay on their routes all year. They get to know your docks, your check-in steps and your schedules, and the same people come back next week, which means fewer missed appointments.

- Branded 53-ft dry vans
Newer trucks break down less. When one does break down on the road, dispatch arranges the repair or sends a replacement truck to finish the run.
Tracking and updates
- Dispatch is staffed 24/7, including nights and weekends.
- Every truck has GPS tracking, a dashcam and electronic logs.
- If a load is running late, we tell you early, with the load number, the reason and the truck's location down to the interstate.

Our drivers haul for UPS, FedEx, DHL and OnTrac, and for manufacturers such as Autoliv.
